Long Distance

Short Film: Approx 7 minutes.

Set one Christmas Day, between East Kilbride and London, Long Distance is a black comedy that explores the strained relationship between a father and his 20 year old son. Alex has lived away from home for several years now and he and his father are as distant emotionally as they are in miles. In the waning light of the afternoon Alex phones home.

JACK: Already cast. JACK is dad. At home on Christmas day, watching the telly as his wife JEAN is preparing the Christmas meal. A man of few words. Most comfortable at work, at the pub and in front of the TV.

Shoot Fee: Equity minimum. £150 to inc short film buyout (all media in perpetuity worldwide).
